Have a Break> LAUGH

Why is it to good to laugh?

Humor is infectious. The sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious than any cough, sniffle, or sneeze. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness. Laughter also triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Humor and laughter strengthens your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.

  • Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
  • Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
  • Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
  • Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.

Multiplication Game

Dear pupils I saw this in 4courage blog so I'm sharing it with you guys,

Try this game of Multiplication Tables - Matching Cards to help you master your multiplication tables! You have to find the matching pairs of cards as quickly as possible to get the highest score. For example, you have to match 12 with 2 x 6 or 6 x 2 and you have to match 30 with 5 x 6 or 6 x 5.

You can increase the level of difficulty by selecting 20 or 24 cards from the scroll down bar. Have fun!:)

Dear pupils,

Here are some important things you need to take note for the Science Centre excursion:

2) Leave your school bags in class at 1.30pm on Thursday. Your school bags will be locked in the classroom. Bring the small bag containing the 3 items (water bottle, pencil box and snacks) for your lunch break.

Our very own North View bears :)

Dear pupils of 4Joy,

As mentioned, our school is selling our very own bears which are wearing our school uniform.

I hope some of you will be able to buy the bears as the money will go to our pocket money fund which may be used to help our low income pupils. Remember, kindness starts with you.

These bears are very special as you will never get them anywhere else and when you graduate in 2 years time, they will be a good memory of your life in North View Primary.

The other P4 classes have shown their support and are buying the bears. Lets show that we have a heart too and do our part to help people around us.

Each bear is going at $12 and a couple costs $20.
