Learning Journey to Esplanade

Dear 4 Joy pupils,

I believe many of you enjoyed the Learning Journey to the Esplanade on Thursday tremendously judging from your facial expressions and the wide smiles on your faces:) I certainly did!

The performance entitled "Tales from the Panchatantra" was without a doubt entertaining and very engaging. I hope all of you picked out the different facial expressions that were portrayed by the different characters to show the different feelings which would be useful for your reader's theatre presentation next week.

I believe many of you were drawn to the story of the bond and friendship shared between the mole, the tortoise and the crow; and the elephant and the mouse. Though different in shape, size and species, they managed to find a common ground and established a strong friendship amongst them.

Don't you feel there are some striking similarities between Charlotte's Web (friendship between Charlotte and Wilbur) and the play you watched? They both bring across the message of the value of friendship which knows no boundaries:) I hope you will keep this in mind and build good friendships with your fellow classmates without judging them based on looks, sizes and race.

This is the friendship and rapport you and I have forged!

Here is a wallwisher link for you to share your experience on the Learning Journey! Double click anywhere to add a sticky and type your message inside the box. Do write your name when you post a message so we know who you are and do not delete your classmates' messages as this is a basic form of showing respect for others. You can drag the sticky to move it around. Have fun and I look forward to reading them!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I will see you tomorrow.
